When do reproductive rights end? Do they end at birth? Do they continue throughout a child’s life? Do reproductive rights extend to parental rights? These are questions we are just starting to ask. And finding the answer can be, in many cases, the difference between life and death.
In two different stories today, young girls have been ordered by Australian courts to spend time with men who likely should not be around any children. These children are being ordered to be alone with a registered sex offender in one case, and in the other case, the child was a victim of kiddie porn under dad’s watch.
Judge Robert Lemkau denied a protective order claiming Katie Tagle was lying and ordered her to turn over her son that day. Ten days later Wyatt Garcia was killed. Despite protests, Judge Lemkau has not resigned, and he is even running for re-election. Words fail at the unmitigated gall of this.
The man who was accused of allegedly raping five of his daughters, three of whom who bore six of his children is finally unmasked. He is award-winning director Aswad Ayinde, aka Charles McGill. Ayinde is most noted for directing the “Killing Me Softly” video by The Fugees.
